The Los Angeles Rams will not go the classic route when the host the Kansas City Chiefs in their first Monday Night Football game at the Coliseum since 1979. Instead, they will don the remarkably ugly and gimmicky “Color Rush” unis.

Clearly, and I’m just spitballing here, the guess is since the Rams were to be playing a “home” game at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, the all mustard combination was geared to be a marketing opportunity for the global audience the National Football League vigorously chases.
That said, it still doesn’t make it a good choice but I get it, as does the NFL when making a buck is possible.
