The Los Angeles Rams officially waived WR Stedman Bailey with a non-football injury designation on Monday.
Bailey’s NFL career, unfortunately, ended after he was shot twice in the head a few years ago. The Rams previously placed him on their reserve/non-football injury list last year, but this was just procedural.
Bailey joined West Virginia’s coaching staff during July of last year as a student assistant and enrolled as a full-time student to complete his bachelor’s degree in multidisciplinary studies.
Bailey helped the Rams during OTAs in a “de facto” coaching role and working with the team’s receivers.
