The Los Angeles Rams officially placed DB Jerome Couplin, LS Andrew East, RB Brandon Wegher and TE Bryce Williams on waivers Wednesday.
Couplin, 25, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of William & Mary back in 2014. In total, he lasted less than a year in Detroit.
After a brief stint with the Bills and a return to the Lions, the Eagles signed him off of Detroit’s practice squad towards the end of 2014. Unfortunately, Philadelphia waived him shortly after last year’s draft and it took until December of last year for him to secure an opportunity with the Rams.
