Rams upgrade Robert Quinn and Rob Havenstein on Thursday

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The St. Louis Rams appear to be moving closer to getting a starting defensive end and right tackle back for this week's game against the Chicago Bears.

The Rams don't practice on Thursdays but release a hypothetical injury report with estimates on how much players would have participated had there been a practice. They upgraded four players from Wednesday to Thursday.

Most important, defensive end Robert Quinn (knee) and right tackle Rob Havenstein (ankle) were moved from non-participants to limited participation. That should be a good sign for them after missing last week's game against Minnesota.
