The Los Angeles Rams found a team willing to take Jonah Jackson’s contract off of their hands, as they are sending the offensive lineman to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a sixth round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to ESPN.
The trade only saves $3.33 million in 2025 cap space for the Rams, but does alleviate the $17.5 million in cash that Jackson is due this year, presuming that L.A. doesn’t have to handle any of that.
The trade still can’t be processed until the first day of the league year, which is March 12th, or next Wednesday.
