The Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals will play in the Hall of Fame game to kick off the NFL exhibition schedule this summer, it was announced Monday. The teams are to meet Aug. 3 in Canton, Ohio, in a contest to be televised nationally by ESPN. Last year’s Hall of Fame matchup was canceled because of poor field conditions.
The rest of this year’s exhibition schedule also was announced, mostly in broad terms — a range of dates in which most of the games will be played except for a few specifics for national TV contests.
