Last summer, the Los Angeles Rams rewarded Tavon Austin with a hefty four-year, $42 million extension to keep the wide receiver on the team through the 2021 season. Unfortunately, the debate is still out there when it comes to whether Austin deserves to be making that type of money, at least one superstar in Antonio Brown was able to lock up an extension he clearly deserves to make him the league’s highest paid receiver.
Austin took the time to recognize Brown for agreeing to a four-year, $68 million extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday, erasing any doubt of the wide receiver’s future with the team.
