Rams Suffer Blowout Loss to Falcons, 42-14

LOS ANGELES — A rough stretch for the Rams continued on Sunday, as the Falcons blew out the Rams 42-14 at the Coliseum for Week 14. Los Angeles has now dropped four games in a row, and eight of its last nine games.

The Rams committed five turnovers, four of which led to Atlanta touchdowns. The game appeared out of reach by late in the third quarter, once the Falcons had built a 42-0 lead.

The turnovers began on the first whistle. Rookie wide receiver Mike Thomas — returning kicks as running back Benny Cunningham was inactive with a neck injury — muffed the opening kickoff, and Atlanta recovered on Los Angeles’ three-yard line.
