The Los Angeles Rams are bringing in a 16-year veteran kicker, after current kicker Lucas Havrisik has been struggling the last few weeks. Mason Crosby was signed Wednesday morning to LA’s practice squad via NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, with expectations that he will be activated for Sunday’s game vs the Baltimore Ravens.
Crosby is 39-years-old, but this will only be his second team in the NFL after a long stint with the Green Bay Packers. The fact that Crosby had played for so long with one team speaks to the success he’s had as a starter in the NFL over an extended period of time.
