Despite some of the criticism the Los Angeles Rams took early on two years ago when they decided to hire Sean McVay as the youngest head coach in NFL history, one of the main reasons behind the decision was due to the potential to work with Jared Goff.
During his time spent with the Washington Redskins as offensive coordinator, McVay received most of the credit for helping Kirk Cousins elevate his game to a whole new level, meaning the Rams were hoping to see similar results with their beloved quarterback.
Two years later, the hiring of McVay turned out to be the best thing to happen to Goff’s career after looking at the impact his head coach has made on offense for Los Angeles, and the best part is these two seem to only be scratching the surface of their true potential working together.
