Jared Goff made some crisp throws in the first half Sunday in New Orleans, including a beautifully thrown ball to Tavon Austin for his first NFL touchdown pass. Goff's execution of the two-minute drill was impressive near the end of the first half, culminating in a 15-yard TD pass to tight end Lance Kendricks.
Alas, Goff and the Los Angeles Rams apparently used up all their good plays in the first half because they managed only three first downs and 60 yards of offense over the entire second half. And you certainly don't want two turnovers a game from your quarterback, as was the case with Goff on an interception and a lost fumble.
