Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Aaron Neary, a reserve interior lineman and mainstay on the Rams practice squad, was suspended for four games without pay Friday for a violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
Neary, who was expected to be on the roster bubble during training camp, remains eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.
If the Rams elect to keep him on the team through his suspension, Neary will be eligible to return to the active roster following the team’s Sept. 29 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
