LOS ANGELES -- The Rams have released wide receiver Cooper Kupp, the team announced Wednesday.
The news comes days after the team announced it agreed to sign six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams on a two-year deal.
Kupp had announced in early February that he was informed by the Rams that "the team will be seeking a trade immediately." In his statement that day, he said, "I don't agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA."
The Rams have designated Kupp a post-June cut, which means they will carry his $29.
