The latest roster cuts are in, and the Rams have reduced their active roster from 75 to 53 players in accordance with league rules.
St. Louis waived or released 21 players, and also placed Trey Watts on the reserve/suspended list. The running back will be out for four games for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse. He’s eligible to return to the active roster on Oct. 5, following the Rams’ Week 4 contest at Arizona.
While there will be opportunities for the team to make changes to the active roster based on players available either as free agents or on waivers, the Rams will go through the rest of 2015 with 53 players.
