This past April, the Los Angeles Rams made their first opening round selection since 2016, taking Florida State linebacker Jared Verse. Given how long it’s been since the team’s last first round pick, there could be some added pressure on a rookie, but Verse has done nothing but rise to the occasion thus far.
Verse was one of the most talked about players coming out of the Rams joint practices with both the Cowboys and the Texans, and it has led to the fan base feeling very confident in the rookie’s ability to impact the team success early.
