Rams Re-Sign Barnes, Davis

Barnes signed a two-year deal with the Rams, keeping him with the team through 2018. Barnes started all 16 games at center for the Rams last season, helping anchor an offensive line that surrendered only 18 sacks -- fewest in the NFL. Barnes was also a key cog in opening run lanes for running back Todd Gurley, who was named AP Rookie of the Year after tallying 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground.

Davis, who has been a staple of the Rams’ special teams unit, also signed a two-year contract. In 2015, Davis finished second on the club with he was second on the unit with 11 tackles.
