Rams RB Todd Gurley skips practice but should be fine

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley did not participate in practice on Wednesday and was listed on the team's official injury report with a thigh ailment.

At this point, the move is considered precautionary, with Gurley expected to play against the New York Jets and their fourth-ranked rush defense on Sunday.

Cornerbacks Trumaine Johnson (ankle) and Lamarcus Joyner (back), and defensive tackle Michael Brockers (groin) also sat out practice. But they all played during Sunday's 13-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers, in which no Rams exited without returning from injury.
