When the 2017 NFL free agency period officially got underway two weeks ago, early signs pointed to the Los Angeles Rams parting ways with Benny Cunningham, which is exactly what happened after the running back joined the Chicago Bears on a one-year deal. Even though he’s no longer a member of the Rams, plenty of Cunningham’s former teammates were sad to see him go, especially Todd Gurley.
The former Georgia standout has been fortunate enough to play with Cunningham over the last two years, and Gurley’s Twitter post from Wednesday night shows how much he’s going to miss having his former teammate around.
