Rams HC Sean McVay said that he expects RB Lance Dunbar to open the regular season on the physically unable to perform list due to a knee injury, according to Alden Gonzalez.
McVay said at the beginning of August that Dunbar was “out indefinitely” with a knee injury, so it appears that the injury has been severe enough to keep him out the entire month.
It is worth mentioning that Dunbar sustained a season-ending torn ACL back in 2015.
Dunbar, 27, signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas back in 2012.
