Rams Raise Awareness for Breast Cancer

On Oct. 25, when the St. Louis Rams players charged through the home tunnel onto the field and past the cheerleaders, they were greeted by more than just boisterous fans. Fifty breast cancer survivors and patients, clad in pink, were on the field forming a “survivor tunnel” and cheering on the Rams during team introductions before facing off against the Cleveland Browns. Included in that group of women were the mothers of offensive lineman Rob Havenstein and tight end Jared Cook, who are both breast cancer survivors.

“I had all sorts of emotions running through my mind and my body,” Cheryl Havenstein said.
