Troy Renck reports that the Rams are making a push to sign free agent CB Kayvon Webster, who will visit with the team on Sunday.
There’s an obvious connection to the Rams now that they’ve hired DC Wade Phillips as their new defensive coordinator.
Webster, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He has played out his four- year, $2,745,800 contract and is currently testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2016, Webster appeared in 13 games for the Broncos and recorded eight tackles, a pass defense and no interceptions while being a large contributor on special teams.
