The Los Angeles Rams announced Wednesday that they’ve placed QB Brandon Allen on injured reserve and signed OLB Kasim Edebali to a contract.
Allen, 25, is a former sixth-round pick out of Arkansas by the Jaguars in the 2016 NFL Draft. He is entering the second year of a four-year, $2.4 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $540,000 this season.
The Jaguars somewhat surprising waived him coming out of the preseason and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Rams.
During his four-year college career, Allen recorded 583 completions on 1,016 pass attempts (57.
