The Los Angeles Rams announced Tuesday that they’ve placed an original-round tender on restricted free agent DT Dominique Easley.
The original-round tender will cost the Rams around $1.797 million for the 2017 season and give them the right of first refusal for any offer sheet he receives from another team during free agency.
Easley, 25, was taken with the No. 29 overall pick during the 2014 NFL Draft. He was in the third of his four-year, $7.303 million rookie contract when he was cut loose by the Patriots last year. The Rams later signed him to a one-year deal worth $600,000.
