The Los Angeles Rams officially placed DL Dominique Easley and FB Zach Laskey on injured reserve Saturday after they passed through waivers unclaimed.
Easley suffered a season-ending ACL tear earlier in the week, so this doesn’t come as a big surprise.
Easley, 25, was taken with the No. 29 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. He was in the third of his four-year, $7.303 million rookie contract when he was cut loose by the Patriots last year. The Rams later signed him to a one-year deal worth $600,000.
The Rams recently re-signed Easley as a restricted free agent and will cost the team $3.
