The LA Rams have added a player to the running backs room: Maryland’s Jake Funk. I don’t have the number off of the top of my head, but this is roughly the 26th running back that Les Snead has drafted in the last couple of years.
Jake Funk is a 5’10, 206 lbs back who ran a 4.49 40-yard dash with a 38” vertical, 10’2 broad, 6.71 three-cone time, and 4.12 in the shuttle. This is yet another “athlete” that Snead has added to the team during this draft.
Funk’s shuttle time was tied for the third-fastest among the 2021 running backs, his three-cone was just flat out first, his vertical was fourth, and everything else was well above average.
