The Los Angeles Rams shook up their personnel department by firing four scouts just weeks before the 2017 NFL Draft. While the timing may seem odd, most scouting work has been completed as teams are now only tweaking draft boards within the organization.
But is this another example of the rampant dysfunction that had become a staple of the Rams these last few seasons?
Not even close, and credit GM Les Snead for tightening the screws in Los Angeles.
The four dismissed are holdovers from the failed Jeff Fisher regime, and with the continuing re-branding of this wayward franchise, the move makes considerable sense.
