Steve Wyche reports that Rams OLB Robert Quinn underwent a surgical procedure to repair a ligament in his thumb but is expected to be recovered in time for training camp.
Quinn, 26, is a former first-round pick of the Rams back in 2011. He’s currently in the first year of his four-year, $66.575 million extension that included $41.268 million guaranteed. He stands to make a base salary of $6.161 million in 2017.
The Rams placed Quinn on the injured reserve list last season after sustaining a concussion.
In 2016, Quinn has appeared in nine games for the Rams and recorded 10 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass defenses.
