EARTH CITY, Mo. -- Earlier today, we took a look at how the St. Louis Rams gained some ground in the NFC West standings despite not playing last week.
That was the only ground the Rams gained during the bye week. In the latest edition of the ESPN NFL Power Rankings, the Rams dropped one spot to No. 18 after checking in at No. 17 following their loss to the Green Bay Packers the previous week.
The Dallas Cowboys actually jumped ahead of the Rams despite also being on a bye week so apparently Dallas is better at not playing football than the Rams are.
