The Rams-Packers game last Sunday was televised in Los Angeles and drew a lower rating than the Seahawks-Bengals game that was on at the same time.
Nielsen says 6.2 percent of homes in that market with a TV tuned in to the Rams, who were on the CBS affiliate. The rating for the other contest, on the Fox station, was 6.3. Both games began at 10 a.m. LA time.
While the Rams’ game (a 24-10 Green Bay victory) wasn’t as exciting as Cincinnati’s big comeback for an overtime victory, the fact the Rams didn’t dominate the ratings in a market in which they seem to be headed is interesting.
