When it came to Jared Goff’s rookie season with the Los Angeles Rams, the one key takeaway that sticks out the most is the quarterback is still a work in progress with plenty of areas in need of improvement. Even if Goff was at a disadvantage for playing behind a poor offensive line along with having one of the league’s weakest receiving corps, the former California star still has a long way to go before becoming an elite quarterback at the NFL level.
The fact that Goff failed to record a single win in seven starts shows how rough his rookie season truly was, but hopefully the early experience will pay off for the quarterback down the road.
