The status of quarterback Jared Goff was unknown until an hour before the LA Rams played their first playoff game this year and the status of defensive lineman Aaron Donald might come down to the wire before their second. Donald left Saturday’s 30-20 win over the Seattle Seahawks in the wild card round partway through the third quarter with a ribs injury and did not return.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, the Rams are “hopeful” that Donald can play next weekend and x-rays did not show any breaks. Donald will have an MRI on Sunday and perhaps that will reveal a more clear picture of his status for next weekend.
