Rams Host Holiday Shopping Spree for Local Kids

The Salvation Army pre-selected 100 children from the St. Louis area to participate in the shopping spree with St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders, Rampage and staff members. Each child was given a $100 gift card and paired with a Rams or Salvation Army volunteer who helped guide the participants up and down the Walmart aisles.

“This year the Rams were extremely helpful,” said Patty Richard, Lieutenant Colonel with The Salvation Army. “Because of their help, we were able to donate $100 per kid, which is huge. The kids are just smiling and so happy and thrilled.”

With each gift card came the stipulation that the child must purchase a toy that they could open on Christmas morning.
