When the Los Angeles Rams arrived at Loyola Marymount on Tuesday, nobody knew whether or not quarterback Matthew Stafford would arrive in the midst of contract negotiations. As players began to arrive, there were no signs of Stafford on site. Head coach Sean McVay was set to speak to the media at 9:30 a.m. PT that was then pushed back to 11:30.
The 12:00 deadline for players to report came and went with still no signs of Stafford and McVay still not at the podium. Finally, McVay arrived and confirmed that the team had agreed to an adjusted contract with Stafford.
