Rams have met with Utah State’s David Woodward

Per The Draft Wire’s Justin Melo, the Rams have recently met with Utah State linebacker David Woodward over FaceTime. Woodward, a three-year contributor to the Aggies defense, looks to become another solid linebacker from Utah State, joining Nick and Zach Vigil, and superstar Bobby Wagner in the NFL.

Per his roster page on the Utah State’s athletics website: “A very athletic player who has great size and runs well in pass coverage... Is a good blitzer and can cover down the field, as well... Is versatile enough to play both inside and outside linebacker.”

As a redshirt freshman, Woodward played in seven games, posting 25 total tackles with three tackles-for-loss, and a single sack.
