The Los Angeles Rams will move into second place in the NFC West if they beat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday and head coach Sean McVay gave some good news about the defense on Friday: Starting edge rusher Michael Hoecht is expected to play through a knee injury. Hoecht has four sacks in the last five games and has played in 85-percent of the snaps this season, fifth-most on the defense.
However, McVay added that defensive back Quentin Lake will miss the game due to a hamstring injury.
DB Quentin Lake (hamstring) will be out.
