The Rams had another atrocious performance last weekend, bumbling to their fourth loss in a row — and second in succession by 24 points. Nielsen reports that 17.7 percent of homes with a TV in the St. Louis market were tuned in, on average, to the telecast after the team drew a 16 rating the previous week for its loss to Cincinnati.
But St. Louis TV viewers apparently decided this time that they like to watch a disaster, as Nielsen said the rating for the final half hour of the telecast Sunday was 18.1 — so more people were watching then than for the game as a whole.
