Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford isn’t making a big public fuss about his contract situation and unlike Lamar Jackson, who set NFL records with his deal last year but isn’t at Ravens practices, he’s working out with the team on a voluntary basis. Sean McVay expects Stafford to continue showing up with or without updated terms to his contract, so for now it doesn’t seem that the two-time Pro Bowl, Super Bowl-winning quarterback is going to use the leverage of unavailability as a negotiation tactic with Los Angeles.
But that doesn’t mean that the 36-year-old who feels father time breathing down his neck is eager to play another regular season game in his career without his future being guaranteed.
