Rams Fall to Cardinals in Seasn Finale, 44-6

In a season full of poor offensive performances, this was another for Los Angeles, allowing Arizona to control the game essentially from start to finish. The Cardinals opened a 13-0 lead midway through the second quarter in part by shutting down the Rams’ offense. Los Angeles had -4 total yards through the end of the first quarter, down 3-0 after the opening period.

On the first play of the second quarter, a Rams takeaway gave the club good scoring position. On 3rd-and-8 from the Arizona 32, defensive end Ethan Westbrooks pressured quarterback Carson Palmer up the middle, leading to an errant throw.
