Rams cut Sensabaugh 4 games into new deal

LOS ANGELES -- The Rams released cornerback Coty Sensabaugh on Saturday, less than seven months after signing him to a three-year deal that was worth upwards of $19 million.

To take Sensabaugh's spot on the 53-man roster, the Rams promoted defensive lineman Morgan Fox from the practice squad.

Fox, an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State-Pueblo, dominated in the preseason finale against the Minnesota Vikings, with two sacks, two tackles for loss and four quarterback hits.

Now he'll provide depth for a defensive line that could be without three starters for Sunday's home game against the Buffalo Bills, with Will Hayes (ankle), Robert Quinn (shoulder) and Michael Brockers (hip) all questionable after barely practicing this week.
