Rams could again call audible on moving a guard to center, per Sean McVay

Sean McVay told reporters on Thursday afternoon that the team is leaning towards starting second-year lineman Steve Avila at left guard and moving Jonah Jackson to center as they look to find the best five ahead of their regular season opener against the Detroit Lions. This report comes from Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic. Avila started at left guard last year as a rookie. Jackson is the Rams’ prized free agent signing and could be in for a position change ahead of a matchup against his former team.

Rams have gotten a long look at Jonah Jackson at center in his return to action.
