Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp will not play in Sunday's opener against the Seattle Seahawks because of a hamstring injury, head coach Sean McVay said.
Kupp, 30, had a setback last week with his recovery and was in Minnesota earlier this week to see a specialist in the hopes of getting at the root of his hamstring issues.
Kupp was first injured in a training camp practice Aug. 1 and missed all three preseason games.
He played nine games in 2022 before a season-ending ankle injury but led the NFL in receptions (145), yards (1,947) and touchdowns (16) in 2021.
