Rams continue to lay foundation in Los Angeles with training camp at Loyola Marymount

Ever since the Los Angeles Rams moved back to California, there has been an emphasis on re-growing their roots in a place that they used to call home. The Rams called L.A. home for 34 years before moving to Anaheim in 1980 and then re-locating to St. Louis in 1995.

When the Rams returned to Los Angeles in 2016, it was important for them to re-integrate themselves into the community. In the 90s, the Rams regularly held training camp at UC-Irvine and that’s where they returned to in 2016. The location made sense at the time and it made sense 20-plus years later.
