Rams Confidence Poll: The 2020 draft class edition

Much like all the other years, the LA Rams didn’t have a first round pick in 2020. That didn’t mean that there wasn’t considerable pressure on the draft class to produce, with or without a normal offseason.

The Rams were hoping that Cam Akers could fill at least part of the role that Todd Gurley left behind. Or that Van Jefferson could do the same at wide receiver after trading Brandin Cooks for the pick to acquire him. And maybe Terrell Lewis could become a pass rusher of importance with Dante Fowler in Atlanta. Rounding out day two, Terrell Burgess might be able to pick up snaps at safety following Eric Weddle’s retirement.
