The Rams have made a fast impact in Los Angeles with their community service and head coach Sean McVay continued to build on that wonderful habit by donating $25,000 to the Play Equity Fund, the team announced Friday.
The donated funds were used to buy football, jump ropes and other supplies for Los Angeles students who are living in under-resourced communities, the team said in a statement. Without this donation, these children would not have access to such supplies.
The goal of McVay’s donation is to help keep these children and their families active during school closures and other challenges created by the coronavirus pandemic.
