Rams clearly comfortable playing in London regardless of relocation issue

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The NFL announced Wednesday that the St. Louis Rams would play a to-be-determined NFC East opponent in one of three games taking place in London, hosting the first-ever NFL game at Twickenham Stadium on Oct. 23, 2016.

Soon after the announcement, many Rams fans on both sides of the St. Louis-Los Angeles ledger wondered what it means for the team's future?

The answer: probably not much. The reason they are doing it? As always, money.

The NFL is still hoping to have a decision on relocation made sometime early in 2016, but it remains unclear when or if the owners will vote on whether the Rams get to construct a new venue in Inglewood or the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders will get to build their stadium in Carson.
