Rams CB Johnson helped off field with leg injury

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson suffered an injury late in Sunday's 30-19 loss to the Buffalo Bills, which could be a big blow to a Rams defense that is already dealing with several costly ailments.

Johnson, the Rams' primary corner, had to be helped off the field because he could not put weight on his right leg and was ultimately carted to the locker room.

The Rams released veteran cornerback Coty Sensabaugh on Saturday, partly to promote defensive lineman Morgan Fox from the practice squad because three starting defensive linemen -- Robert Quinn, Will Hayes, Michael Brockers -- did not play.
