The first phase of the Rams’ offseason program began Monday in Oxnard, Calif., signaling the first beginnings of the 2016 season.
With the club’s relocation process to the West Coast largely complete, Day 1 had a first-day-of-school feel, as players got reacquainted and began strength and conditioning work.
“It’s good to come back with my teammates, get back to team activities,” cornerback Trumaine Johnson said.
“Just glad we’re finally here,” wide receiver Tavon Austin said. “Everybody’s here, everybody’s getting situated, and we’re getting ready to start our offseason workouts.”
Plus, there is the added difference of the team now being located in Southern California.
