Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey was shot Tuesday night, team officials confirmed. The shooting took place in Miami Gardens, Fla. Bailey is a native of Miramar, Fla., a city in Broward County.
Rams officials believe Bailey will be OK, and the statement released by the team said he was hospitalized in "critical, but stable, condition."
The Associated Press reported Wednesday afternoon that Bailey had undergone surgery related to his wounds and that he still was listed in critical but stable condition at a Miami-area hospital.
