The Rams finished their 2016 NFL Draft by selecting three players in the sixth round — tight end Temarrick Hemingway, linebacker Josh Forrest, and wide receiver Mike Thomas.
Hemingway is a 6-foot-5, 244-pound tight end out of South Carolina State. who made a strong impression at the NFL Combine in February. He ran a 4.71 40-yard dash, and also was a top performer in the three-cone drill and the 60-yard shuttle. Hemingway earned first-team All-MEAC honors in 2015 after making 38 receptions for 418 yards and a touchdown as South Carolina State’s second-leading receiver.
“He can block and also be a threat catching the ball,” general manager Les Snead said.
