It’s official: The Rams will host Los Angeles’ first NFL game in 21 years on August 13 against the Dallas Cowboys for Week 1 of the 2016 preseason at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The NFL released its preseason schedule Thursday afternoon, and the Rams’ first game — which will be nationally televised on ESPN — is certainly a highlight. After squaring off against Dallas, Los Angeles will face Kansas City at home, and then Denver and Minnesota on the road to complete the preseason slate.
With the Cowboys holding training camp in Oxnard, Calif. — where the Rams are currently preparing to stage their offseason program — the club will have a short trip south for the contest.
